2011: The Year We Make Contact
The year 2011 was declared the International Year of Forests by the UNO, to raise awareness and strengthen the sustainable forest management, conservation and sustainable development of all types of forests for the benefit of current and future generations.
The Forest: a source of renewable resources like wood and potable water, but not all. The Forest as protection, shelter, a treasure chest filled with innumerable species of wildlife. Refreshment and fresh after a long walk in the sun.
The Forest also like ... metaphor. Place of fighting to reach rain and light. Place where only some survive. Place to get lost but find each other. Place in which to continue to fight, hard and honestly as ever. But this time, may the best win!
